First Visit: A full health history will be taken and questions asked regarding your symptoms, health and lifestyle.  Your acupuncturist may check your pulses, tongue and conduct a brief physical exam in order to obtain the information needed for a diagnosis and a clear picture of systemic imbalances.  Treatment consists of your acupuncturist placing fine, sterile, disposable needles at specific acupoints or along meridian channels of the body at which point you may feel a slight sensation. These needles are used to activate the body’s Qi (life energy) and promote natural healing by enhancing the body’s own cellular regenerative and restorative abilities, renewed systemic immune function and improvement in general physical and emotional health.  It can also improve overall tissue and organ function, promoting wellness and recovery.  A person’s health is influenced by the quality, quantity and balance of Qi which supports and nourishes cells, organs, glands, tissues and muscles.  Acupuncture works effectively to treat acute, chronic or systemic conditions as well as overall stress and tension.  It is a safe, painless, non-invasive and effective way to treat a wide variety of specific medical problems or used as preventive maintenance.

Treatment Plan: Generally, acute conditions require three to six sessions.  Chronic conditions may require one to several courses of treatment.  A course of treatment consists of six sessions.

Complete Care System: Along with acupuncture, your practitioner may prescribe Chinese Herbal Medicine, nutrition or exercise and refer you into Massage Therapy, Physical Therapy or Primary Care.  Acupuncturists work with your health care providers to ensure your highest level of recovery and well-being.  Acupuncturists are clinically trained in the use of Chinese Herbal Medicine and are experts in managing herb / drug interactions.  Herbs can be a powerful adjunct to acupuncture care and are commonly used to strengthen, build and support the body or to clear it of excess problems such as a cold, fever or acute pain.  Herbal recommendations are based upon your specific medical and recovery needs.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture: Acupuncture effectively treats cosmetic complaints such as fine lines, wrinkles, acne, circles under the eyes and other signs of aging.  Facial rejuvenation begins with a 30 minute facial using all natural Arbonne International skin care products, followed by a short neck, shoulder and foot massage to melt away stress and tension.  Acupuncture on specific acupoints on the face and body will target trouble areas and leave your skin revitalized and rejuvenated.  Enjoy a visit to our hydrotherapy suite with each session.  A series of ten treatments is required to achieve maximum results. $ 950.00
